Attending the Rural and Remote Mental Health Symposium in Hobart was a great learning opportunity for Moving A Head Inc. It was encouraging to hear how Mental Health in rural and remote places are overcoming challenges and being serviced by passionate people and organisations. Meeting Professor Tim Carey (above) was definitely a high light for CEO Sandra Batistich. Thanking the Australian & New Zealand Mental Health Association for a fantastic Symposium.

Moving A Head is a not-for-profit inc. association providing Mental Health Services within SA. Promoting Mental Health throughout the general community, our services include specific programs working towards recovery and wellness. One of our courses is a 12 week course for men dealing with depression. Individual professional counselling is also available.

Our Organisation’s Objectives

• To empower clients who have mental health issues to work towards recovery and wellness.
• To promote mental health wellness throughout the general community.
• To reduce mental health stigma throughout the general community.

We focus on a wholistic approach emphasising the connection between physical and mental well being.
Our team consists of workers who have had over fifteen years of experience working in the Mental health field and have a genuine passion for supporting clients to lead meaningful lives.
